
This course introduces learners to the fundamentals of website development using Python as a backend programming language.
The course supports learners who want to progress into modern web development roles or further training.
It bridges the gap between static HTML/CSS websites and dynamic, data-driven applications by providing a simple and accessible route into backend development. Python’s readability and industry relevance make it an ideal first backend language, preparing learners for software development, data, and cybersecurity pathways.
Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, Evisa / Sharecode , UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa or Biometric card or any relevant home office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course . For funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits please provide evidence if this also (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC).
