
This course introduces learners to the technologies behind smart systems and the Internet of Things.
Learners explore sensors, connected devices, data collection, basic networking, and security considerations while designing and analysing simple smart systems. Project-based learning ensures a practical, hands-on experience that links computing concepts to real-world applications.
Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, Evisa / Sharecode , UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa or Biometric card or any relevant home office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course . For funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits please provide evidence if this also (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC).
Free unless earning over £28,860.00pa or not yet achieved a Level 2 in ICT (Then £75)
