How to Become a Successful Content Creator (Digital Skills Academy)

Are you considering a career in content creation? Have you always wanted to work remotely and partner with your favourite brands? If so, this course is for you!

Learn tips from successful social media content creators, understand how to develop a personal brand and develop the practical skills to help you succeed. 

The course will primarily focus on these platforms: Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. 

You will also have the opportunity to work with your fellow students on a final project.

You will learn how to:

• Select the most effective platform(s) based on your goals
• Set up your equipment
• Understand content types
• Plan content
• Write scripts and storytelling
• Create your first piece of content
• Publish and optimising content
• Engage with your audience
• Improve based on feedback
• Explore monetisation options
• Develop a revenue strategy
• Reflect and future planning

You must have an up-to-date smartphone or basic equipment to capture content.

You will need to be eligible to study in the UK. Upon enrolment, you will be asked to upload residency and income documents for college funding purposes.

This course is for 19+ adult GLA residents only.

Free unless earning over £28,860pa (then £72)
