
Our HSK Level 2 Chinese – Speaking and Listening course is the second stage in the internationally recognised HSK pathway towards Level 6 proficiency. Over 11 weeks (16.5 hours), you will strengthen your Mandarin skills, expanding your vocabulary to 300–450 words (with 150+ new words) and mastering 62 new grammar points. By the end, you will be able to talk about daily life, make and respond to invitations, ask for help, share information, and express personal experiences and feelings with greater confidence.

You will complete regular classwork and practice activities. At the end of the 11 weeks, you will take a Summative Assessment to demonstrate your progress. If you wish, you may register independently to sit the official HSK Level 1 exam (£20 fee).
Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, Evisa / Sharecode , UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa or Biometric card or any relevant home office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course . For funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits please provide evidence if this also (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC).
This is a full cost course of £199
After completing HSK Level 2, you will be able to engage in simple, practical conversations on a wider range of topics and progress towards HSK Level 3 and beyond.
