
Cybersecurity is a rapidly growing area of the digital economy. This course provides a safe, structured, and ethical introduction to penetration testing and security concepts.
You will explore how systems are attacked and defended within strict legal and professional boundaries. Using controlled lab environments and realistic scenarios, you will investigate common vulnerabilities, reconnaissance techniques, and risk awareness.
Please be prepared to provide your residency documents, such as a passport, Evisa / Sharecode, UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa, Biometric card, or any relevant Home Office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course. For funding purposes, we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits, please provide evidence of this (e.g., JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC).
Free unless earning over £28,860.00pa or not yet achieved a Level 2 in ICT (then £150).
