Electronic Dance Music Production (Creative Skills Academy)

This course is for individuals with a passion for music. This short course in electronic dance music production is crafted to impart the necessary skills for creating one's own EDM tracks. This course is suitable for both beginners and those with some prior experience in music production. 

Whether you're a novice or have some background in music production, this course provides a comprehensive exploration of EDM production techniques. 

Participants will embark on a journey through the fundamentals of music theory, sound design, and the technical intricacies involved in producing electronic dance music. The curriculum spans a variety of topics, including crafting melodies and chords, utilizing synthesizers and samplers, as well as designing drum patterns and arranging tracks.

This is not a course for ICT beginners. You must be a competent ICT user and willing to work within a team.

You will need to be eligible to study in the UK. Upon enrolment, you will be asked to upload residency and income documents for college funding purposes.

This course is for 19+ adults only who are GLA-resident.
