DJing Skills

Welcome to CCCG-Tottenham fantastic free DJ course, where you will have the opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful DJ. This 12-week course will provide you with an in-depth look into the world of DJing, including the latest DJ software and equipment, as well as an insight into the music industry.

Located in our Tottenham Campus, our state-of-the-art facilities are designed specifically for DJing, with interactive lighting, professional DJ equipment and practice spaces. Our experienced tutors will guide you through every step of the course, ensuring that you have the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to succeed as a DJ.

Over the course of 12 weeks facilitated by industry professionals, you will learn a range of DJ skills, from beatmatching and scratching to advanced mixing techniques. You will also gain a thorough understanding of DJ software and equipment, including the latest controllers and digital audio workstations.

In addition, you will gain an insight into the music industry, including the role of the DJ in promoting and distributing music from guest lecturers and industry professionals. You will learn about the various genres of music, the history of DJing, and how to build a successful career as a DJ. 

Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, Evisa / Sharecode , UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK and your EVisa or Biometric card or any relevant home office documents to support your residency covers the duration of your course . For funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits please provide evidence if this also (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC). 

This course is free if you are earning less than £28,860.00pa (Than £126) 

On completion of this course, you can progress to further study in this area.
