Coding - Intermediate (Digital Skills Academy)

Designed for learners who already have a solid foundation in Python, this 7-week course will deepen your technical abilities through hands-on coding, real-world problem-solving, and guided practice with industry-standard tools. The course will help you write cleaner, more efficient code while introducing you to advanced topics such as decorators, generators, context managers, and algorithmic thinking.

Each session includes practical exercises, collaborative tasks, and structured challenges designed to help you grow.

By the end of the course, you will have developed a strong portfolio of mini-projects and completed a final machine-learning project showcasing your new skills. Whether you’re aiming to advance in your career, boost your analytical skills, or step further into the tech industry, this course provides the skills and support you need to succeed.

This is an intermediate course. You must already have a basic understanding of Coding or have already completed an introductory Coding course.

You will need to be eligible to study in the UK. Upon enrolment, you will be asked to upload residency and income documents for college funding purposes.

This course is for 19+ adults who are GLA residents.

Free unless earning over £28,860pa (then £75)
