If you’re looking to study with us at Westminster Kingsway College (WestKing) in September 2023, please book your space at our next open days – introducing you to our centres and what you can study with us.
We also hold regular open evenings every Monday during term time at our King’s Cross Centre, 4.30 – 6pm. You do not need to pre-book, you can just turn up on the day.

Spotlight Events
Check out our range of Spotlight sessions where you can have a taste of the different subjects we have to offer and see if they are the right fit for you. To apply simply choose your subject, follow the link to Eventbrite and register your place.
During this session you will be given introductory skills in art and design, covering a range of different creative industries such as fashion, illustration, and photography. This will give you the opportunity to try out different pathways and help you decide which creative career you would like to pursue in the future. You will also have the opportunity to do live painting. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.

Explore the exciting world of Business with a diverse range of interactive sessions that cover everything from finance and marketing to team building and entrepreneurship. These sessions will provide you with an authentic experience of what to expect on our Business programme. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.
There are multiple sessions available on 22 March, 26 April, 17 May and 21 June – reserve your place here.
Join us to learn how to construct a 15mm copper pipe frame in plumbing, or you could prepare, paint and mark out decorating design using colour. If electrics interests you, learn how to build a one-way electrical circuit with light. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.

Explore the exciting progressive world of all things digital and computing. You will gain insight into: Information Technology Systems, Creating Systems to Manage Information, Using Social Media in Business, Cyber Security and Incident Management, Computer Games Development, Programming, Digital Animation and Effects, Website Design.

Understand how to create 3D printing designs. You will build your own circuit multi simulation and display sets. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.

Join us to gain expertise in digital media production, focusing on film and visual effects, and gain skills, knowledge, and understanding to advance in the creative industry through further education and employment opportunities. Our King’s Cross Centre is fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art facilities, including high-spec computer suites, sound studios, film and TV editing and recording studios and music rooms, replicating the workplace for your studies. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.

Attend our interactive session which includes how to take blood pressure, peak flow and resting heart rate. Learn about healthy nutrition as well as using our interactive babies to experience child development. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.

Join the award-winning team at the UK’s leading school for hospitality and culinary arts. During your time with us, you will have a hands-on experience, preparing fresh pasta, sauces and tastings, spending time in the bakery kitchen to try your hand a shaping bread rolls and practice your piping skills. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.

Music
You will have the opportunity to try and work in our professional studio, focusing on performance, production, composition and related activities.
Performing Arts
You will learning the basic range of performing arts techniques in our Dance Studio. There will be opportunities to experience acting styles such as improvisation and create your own pieces, showcasing your work in performances. The focus will be on Level 1-3 course elements and therefore is aimed at school leavers.
