Mayor of London’s Skills Academies Helps 10,000 Londoners Gain Employment

The Mayor of London’s Skills Academies has worked with 10,000 people across the city and supported them in gaining employment across various sectors.

The Mayor of London’s Skills Academies have helped over 10,000 Londoners progress into work in the digital, green, health and social care, hospitality and creative industries. 

The programme coordinates training provision and employer demand, helping Londoners to prepare for the future and enabling employers to access the skills they need to thrive. Over 2,500 employers have engaged with the Mayor’s Skills Academies programme since it launched in January 2022.

Capital City College Group (CCCG) is proud to run four academy hubs which focus on supporting the creative, construction, digital, and hospitality sectors:

• Creative Skills Hub – providing training and industry networks to jumpstart a career in the creative sector
• Green Hub – working towards retrofitting environmentally friendly energy systems to reduce emissions whilst creating job opportunities
• Digital Skills Hub – supporting training and guidance with high-tech equipment to develop a career in the digital sector
• Hospitality Hub – offering bespoke training opportunities and support packages to facilitate employment in the hospitality sector

All four of CCCG’s Mayor’s Skills Academies are credited by The Quality Mark, which identifies them as excellent, industry-relevant training providers.
