One basketball team faced a difficult start to the competition with a narrow 11-9 victory in their opening game. The team soon found its rhythm and went on to have five consecutive wins. The second team also had notable victories and finished third in the competition.

The volleyball team also showcased their remarkable skills and experienced sporting success. Despite only having become a team four weeks before the tournament, the players demonstrated their enormous potential and came second in the regional volleyball competition.
