Blade Repair Technician - Skills Bootcamp for Londoners

What you’ll gain

• Core working-at-height and wind-sector safety knowledge needed for turbine environments.

Certifications

• GWO-aligned training outcomes (Global Wind Organisation standards) as part of the programme.
• Capital City College completion certification.

Hands-on / real-world experience

• Practical, hands-on training in specialist facilities, focused on real blade repair scenarios.
• Skills demonstrated through observation and evidence-based assessment.

Wraparound support

• Embedded employability support including CV support, job search guidance and interview preparation.

• Free for eligible Londoners aged 19+ who live in Greater London and are not being funded through their employer.
  • Age requirement: 19+
  • Residency: Must live in London.
  • Employment status: Open to employed, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK, right to live in the UK, and not currently be in full-time education.
  • Previous Global Wind Organisation, Electrical or Construction experience is useful for this course.

• Learners looking for work are supported into employer interviews; those already employed can use the bootcamp to upskill for new responsibilities.
