Join our Makers course – a fully funded six-week programme by Capital City College and Westminster City Council designed to build your confidence, develop key professional and entrepreneurial skills, and connect you with exciting career opportunities.

The Makers course is an immersive six-week training and personal development programme designed to help you develop key professional, entrepreneurial, and employability skills through hands-on experience and industry mentorship.
Over the six weeks, you will participate in modules including:
This course is designed for young people aged 16–24 in Westminster who are looking to improve their employability or enhance entrepreneurial skills. Whether you’re a young jobseeker aiming to boost your CV and gain work experience, or an aspiring entrepreneur interested in developing and selling your own products, the Makers course is tailored to help you achieve your career goals.
To be eligible for these courses you must:
Free for all eligible young Westminster residents, this course is funded by Capital City College and Westminster City Council. Travel costs and light lunch will be provided for students during course days.
The Makers course will run from 7 October to 20 November 2024, with sessions held Monday to Wednesday each week over the six-week period.
The course will take place at the Victoria Centre with additional on-site sessions, including employer visits and work placements.
