ESOL Courses
We offer a number of courses for those from overseas looking to learn English, known as ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages. These courses are for students who need support with reading, writing, listening and speaking in English.
Our ESOL course teachers will help you learn and enhance your grammar and vocabulary for work, study and home life. Whether you’re new to the English language, or would just like to improve your existing skills, studying an ESOL course will give you the confidence to communicate with friends and employers, to be more independent and to enjoy life in the UK.
There is a wide range of courses from Pre-Entry Level (complete beginner) to Level 2 (Advanced) focusing on the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. There are additional courses to improve your skills in spelling, pronunciation or grammar. You will be able to enrol on more than one course at a time if you wish.
Courses are offered in the daytime and evening with some Saturday courses available. Before you start the course your levels of English in reading, writing, speaking and listening will be assessed and you will be placed in class at the right level for you, with learners of the same ability.
