Plumber/Pipefitter and Welder Apprentice - Level 2

Buxton + McNulty Mechanical Services Ltd is a commercial plumber and pipefitter company whose work is carried out on building sites, not domestic plumbing.  You will report directly to your site supervisor and will receive a training plan detailing the steps of your apprenticeship. 

The work will entail working alongside a qualified plumber/pipefitter and learning your chosen trade.

At the end of your apprenticeship with Buxton & McNulty you will be fully qualified.

You will need:

• English and Maths GCSEs to a minimum grade 4.  Grade 5 is preferable
• To be a responsible learner, with an ability to work under instruction and to use initiative
• To be trustworthy, reliable, good time-keeping skills and have a good work ethic

Successful applicants will need to apply and pay for a CSCS card, have their own steel toe cap work boots and supply their own tools. £13,312.00 per year first-year Apprentice – rising pay scale with travel paid for.

Buxton & McNulty offer a Four-year Apprenticeship as after completing Level 2 we will discuss moving to Level 3.

You will be trained as a Level 2 Plumbing/ Pipefitter and Welder.
