ABOUT

The Salon Management (Hairdressing pathway) Level 4 Diploma is ideal for individuals who wish to extend their industry knowledge by developing advanced techniques that could lead to employment as a senior stylist or salon manager/owner.

You will learn skills such as colour correction, hair and scalp specialist services, quality, salon and sales management and Public Relations (PR)

  • Hair and scalp specialist services
  • Management of health, safety and security in the salon

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS

You will be assessed on the practical work that you do in the beauty salon, as well as observations, an e-portfolio, online testing, assignments and oral questioning.

FEES

Adults - Level 4

If you will be aged 19+ before the start date of your course and plan to study a Further Education course at Level 4, and you are out of work or on a low income, your study with us may be free. Otherwise, you may have to pay the fees yourself or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.

PROGRESSION

On completion of this course, you will be able to progress into work as a salon manager or senior stylist. You may also want to progress and develop your skills in Beauty Therapy.
