This AAT course provides a solid foundation in accountancy, finance and business, preparing you for work in junior and entry-level accounting roles.
This course is ideal for the internal progressions of students who have completed the AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification and are looking to progress to the Accounting route.
If you’ve completed the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping Qualification, you will be exempt from completing the first two units of this level (Introduction to Bookkeeping and Principles of Bookkeeping Controls).

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will be continuously assessed through skills tests and exams. There are 4 mandatory externally marked assessments. You must pass all the unit assessments to be awarded a grade (70-79 for a Pass, 80-89 for a Merit or 90+ for a Distinction).
If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. Once you have successfully completed this course, you could progress to the Accounting AAT Level 3, AAT Level 3 Bookkeeping or an apprenticeship.

Mark Dunne joined CCCG in November 2019 where he was teaching all levels of AAT Accounting at CONEL and CANDI. He is now a permanent, valued member of staff at CANDI in Finsbury Park where he specialises in Financial & Management Accounting teaching. Mark's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts (HONS) in Business and Finance from the University of Wales, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich and a Master’s in Education from the University of Nottingham. He is a part-qualified Association of Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
Mark has been teaching for more than 30 years but has also amassed a range of work experience in the financial services and accounting sectors. This included six years working for a high street bank, two years working as a Mortgage Consultant and six years as Finance Director of his own business- Kantep Limited. This was an animation business working with higher education professionals to produce animations of scientific work which was multi-national with mainly European customers and technical employees who were based in the Far East.
Mark has travelled the world and has worked in a top university in Thailand for six years as a tutor of improving skills for graduates to attain top-level positions in multi-national companies, he has worked in New York for a charity for a year and has also worked for one of the top global law firms in Paris for a year.
