Digital Photography

Photography?provide opportunities to develop digital skills in photography and?image manipulation at beginner and intermediate level using?digital cameras, mobile phones and Adobe Photoshop using a DSLR camera to create beautiful photos/images.

• Identify features of a digital camera
• Identify camera settings for particular photographic conditions and contexts
• Identify camera settings for particular photographic conditions and contexts
• List requirements of a brief
• Outline legal constraints related to taking photographs
• List the process for taking specific photographs
• List equipment required for taking specific photographs
• Use equipment to take photographs in accordance with a brief
• Check photographs for image quality
• Transfer photographs to a storage medium. Save photographs in suitable format.

You do not need to have any previous qualifications.All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

This course is assessed through coursework assignments, tests throughout the course, which are set and marked by your teachers

If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.
