Cutting Women's Hair - Level 2 Certificate

This course will help you develop your practical skills in the creative art of cutting women’s Hair. You will also develop underpinning knowledge on how to carry out effective Consultation Services on Clients and to follow all Health and Safety aspects of the services.

Mandatory units:

• Follow health and safety practices in the salon
• Client consultation for hair services 
• Cut women’s hair  

All units have Exams and or Assignments attached alongside practical Assessments.

You will need:

• To have a good understanding of English at Level 1 or higher enabling you to sit exams and complete assignments
• Any Level 1 Qualification previously achieved in any subject
• Be able to commit to the 12-week programme of study

You will be assessed through practical observation, online exams and completed assignments. 

Adults - Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2

If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. This course is free for those meeting the criteria.

You can progress into Level 2 Barbering, Level 2 Hairdressing, and Level 2 Hair media Makeup.
