
The UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma, is equivalent to 3 A levels if completing both years. At this level you are supported towards independent study, through software workshops in Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, University Open Days, and other creative based workshops as well as guest speakers from industry. all of which, will help you, with personal development to progress to employment or higher education.Previous assignments have included: Career Progressions, Social Media Marketing, Contextual Studies in your chosen pathway, Brand Development and working on a Live Creative Brief.
You will be studying the following units:
Unit 9 - Characteristics and contexts in creative media production
Unit 10 - Engaging with an audience in creative media production
Unit 11 - Preparing for progression in creative media production
Unit 12 - Specialist study in creative media production
Unit 13 - Extended project in creative media production

All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
Programme delivery is 100 % course work and portfolio based. Towards the end of the year, you will have to complete a formative, self-initiated project (FMP - Final Major Project), based on your chosen creative pathway.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. On successful completion of this course, you could progress to higher education, an apprenticeship or other employment.
