ABOUT THE COURSE

This course is accredited by Cambridge University.

CELTA - the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults - focuses on teaching and learning strategies for EFL/ESOL and is mainly practical. In addition to your taught sessions, you will need to allow extra time for independent study, assignments and lesson preparation.

The course is an intensive programme of study to which you will be required to commit fully. This is a very practical course focusing on hands-on teaching practice so that upon completion, you will feel confident beginning or continuing your career as an ESOL teacher with all the skills and knowledge you will need. Many of our students have even become teachers in the ESOL courses we offer at CONEL.
