
This coruses provides you with the opportunity to explore, develop and test your creativity within media, developing your base of skills and knowledge, while enhancing your self-confidence and revealing the potential career demands and opportunities within the sector.
You will be introduced to both the creative and technical aspects of creative media production, furthering your own personal development as you gain the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress to further education and employment within the creative industries.
The course has been designed to incorporate a strong element of vocational learning to provide you with the understanding, knowledge and skills necessary for future progression and employment, underpinned by transferable skills that will enable you to demonstrate qualities of adaptability, self-reliance, collaboration, dependability, resilience, imagination and creativity.

The course is assessed throughout the year and with an end-of-course portfolio.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.
