
This course helps you develop your knowledge of beauty therapy, preparing you for employment in the industry. You will study a range of beauty techniques, developing the skills you need to carry out facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures, and eyebrow and eyelash treatments. The course will also teach you about the day-to-day running of a beauty salon, including health and safety procedures, customer relations and reception duties.
You will have plenty of opportunity to practise what you are learning on real customers in our salon, under the guidance of professional beauty experts.

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
You will be assessed on the practical work that you do in the beauty salon, as well as observations, an e-portfolio, on-line testing, assignments and oral questioning.
Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. On successful completion of the course, you can develop your skills further through a range of Level 3 courses in beauty, spa therapies or make-up artistry.
