Our Exploring Careers courses are aimed at engaging students into employment, further training or apprenticeships, developing the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Over the course of 6 weeks, students will gain practical work experience with employers, as well having sessions in college.

What can it lead to?

• Further Education CCCG offer a range of courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3 and students could progress to study at even higher levels in the future.

• Apprenticeships Students can get paid while they improve their skills and experience and work towards a qualification. Apprenticeship’s suit those who prefer hands-on learning to classroom study.

• Employment Students will have made new contacts, and there may be an opportunity to work with their placement employer. If not, they’ll have gained job search, application and interview skills as well as workplace experience, so will be all set to look for work.
